Welcome Day for new students of Wildlife Management, Conservation and Control

On 1 October, the Department of Veterinary Medicine welcomed the new students of the international Master’s Degree in Wildlife Management, Conservation and Control during a Welcome Day marking the beginning of the new academic year.

The event provided a first opportunity to meet and get acquainted with a diverse and international student community. Students have arrived in Sassari from different countries and regions of Italy, bringing with them a wide range of experiences, educational backgrounds and cultures.

During the Welcome Day, students had the opportunity to meet members of the teaching staff and the Department’s Education Office staff, learn more about the structure of the degree programme, and receive initial information about the services and activities that will support them throughout their studies.

The event was also an opportunity to discover the Department and begin building connections within the academic community. The exchange of different experiences, cultures and perspectives is an important part of the international programme and contributes to enriching the entire VetSassari community.

The Welcome Day for new students of the Master’s Degree in Wildlife Management, Conservation and Control will take place on 1 October 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Room A of the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sassari.

The introductory session will be an opportunity to meet professors, tutors and departmental staff, receive initial information about the degree programme and get to know fellow students.

We look forward to welcoming you and starting this journey together.
