Present Position: Full time researcher and Assistant Professor in the section of Anatomy of Domestic Animals at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Sassari.
Education & training: graduation in in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and PhD degree in “Veterinary experimental morphological and surgical sciences”
Most important research lines: his main research lines are focused on the study of the composition and changes affecting the microtubular cytoskeleton (post-translational changes of tubulin) mainly in cells belonging to the nervous system (in ex vivo and in vitro experimental models) and, lately, in other cell types (oocytes). Other lines of research are represented by the study of aromatase in the sheep foetal brain and study on vasculogenesis and recovery of peripheral vascular ischemias on murine diabetic models.
