The Department of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Sassari is partner of a consortium, a of research institutions (Universities of Rome and Tuscia, Istituto Superiore di Sanità, Istituti Zooprofilattici Toscana-Lazio e Marche-Umbria)   in cooperation with the  Segretariato Generale alla Presidenza della Repubblica to promote research, monitoring and teaching in the field of wildlife biology and veterinary science within the Presidential Estate of Castelporziano.
