Didactics
The Teaching Staff consists of 62 permanent Lecturers and 31 Supporting Staff Positions. The Department teaching activities are organised in undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The undergraduate courses are: Veterinary Medicine (a 5-year course); Health, Medical and Veterinary Biotechnologies (second level course, 2 years), and an International course on Wildlife Management, Conservation and Control (second level course, 2 years).
The DVMSS offers the following postgraduate educational programs: PhD School in “Veterinary Science”; Postgraduate Specialization School in “Inspection of Food of Animal Origin”; Postgraduate Specialization School in “Animal Health, Farming and Zootechnical Productions”; Second Level Master in “Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care of Small Animals – MUTIPA”.
